With the aim of contributing to the quality of Math teaching and of disseminating the outcomes resulting of the integration and use of Information and Communication Technology, the Virtual School of the European Schoolnet (EUN), through its Department of Mathematics, and the the Ministry of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan Autonomous Government), through SGTI (Subdirecció General de Tecnologies de la Informació - ICT in Education Unit), with the collaboration of SUN Microsystems, call for submissions to the TEACHMATH EXCELLENCE'2002 contest of Mathematics Teaching Actions.

1^st European Contest of Mathematics Teaching Actions

This contest is addressed to European teachers of any European education institution working on the integration of ICT in the teaching of Maths as a way of stimulating new and fruitful ways of acquiring the concepts and conceptual systems, procedures and values that are specific to mathematics science.
