you need to do a somewhat larger hit, to get the Vision Thing.

helps, too, if you're close enough to starving to death that you'd happily
consider eating a considerable quantity of moldy bread in the first place. 

even then, you'd have to have a mind-set all prepped for "seeing" 
"visions," and have a formal visual vocabulary already in place so that they
would have something to be made out of, *and* be in a "setting" full of other
folks equally prone to mass hysteria & dilusions.

not as easy as it sounds, but it *can* be done.

of course, what with modren antibiotics and such, you might not loose more
than a vey few of your "extremities" to gangrene over the month or so it would
take you to get over the side effects of the "trip."

certainly worth a try, esp. if it's specific for migraine, as well.
