Disabled people are defined as people with physical or sensory impairments, learning difficulties or mental health system users/ survivors. Salary 17.5 hours per week (half time), SO1 currently £19770 (pro rata) Initial contract: 3 years. This post is funded by Comic Relief. This post is open only to disabled people who identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual. Both workers will be expected to have a strong commitment to equality of opportunity and involvement of people using community care services. LIP uses a Social Model of Disability framework and the workers would also need to approach work in this way.
