Position: Senior Ecologist
Location: South East

Our client, a major multi-disciplinary international consultancy, is
looking to recruit a senior ecologist to join its existing team based in
Hampshire. With around 4-5 years experience, you will have a first degree
in a biological science and preferably an MSc in a related discipline.
Ideally you will also be an IEEM member. The position will involve the
management and co-ordination of small to medium sized projects, along with
both preparation and review of reports, therefore experience of these
aspects is essential, gained either through a consultancy or in the public
sector. Experience of protected species surveys is highly desirable, and
to have held a licence for at least 1 protected species would also be
advantageous. The project will involve not only the co-ordination of
internal staff and sub-consultants, but also close liaisons with external
clients and internal project managers therefore excellent interpersonal
and communication skills are also paramount.

Position: Assistant Ecologist

Our client, a major multi-disciplinary international consultancy, is
looking to recruit an assistant ecologist with between 2-3 years
experience to join its existing Hampshire – based team. Preferably a
member of IEEM, you will ideally be a competent botanist with some
experience of protected species surveys. The role will predominantly
involve field surveys, report preparation and possibly the co-ordination
of sub-consultant input into individual projects.

Position: Graduate Ecologist
Location: South East

Our client, a major multi-disciplined international consultancy, is
looking to recruit a recent graduate with one years plus experience post –
MSc to join its Hampshire based team. With a first degree in a biological
science and preferably a related MSc, you will be a competent botanist,
preferably with experience of faunal surveys. The position will involve
some unaccompanied survey work, therefore practical experience of self-
organised field studies is essential. The role will also involve the
writing up of results in a standard report format, therefore experience of
quality report preparation is also essential.

Position: Ecologist/Environmental Scientist
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £Neg
Our client, a major multi-disciplined international consultancy is looking
to recruit an experienced ecologist to join its diverse team within
Cambridge. With upwards of 5 years’ experience, preferably gained within a
consultancy environment, you will have excellent practical field skills
coupled with excellent report writing abilities. With experience of a
broad range of EIA, survey and management projects, you will have a sound
knowledge of UK and International Environmental Legislation and
regulation. Experience of the following aspects would also be advantageous:
-Experience of Water and Transportation Sectors, and of Urban Regeneration.
-Experience of Hydro-ecological Studies.
-Understanding of the impact of CAMS, the Habitat Directive and Water
Framework Directive.
-Knowledge of GOMMS, NATA methodologies
-Experience of work in other countries, particularly Eastern Europe,
Central Asia and the Middle East
-Experience of project management and business development.
-Understanding of sustainability in infrastructure development.
