Launch of new
Post-graduate and CPD courses in Urban Regeneration
The Department
of Urban Studies at the University of Glasgow recently launched a new MPhil
programme in Urban Policy and Practice as well as a full programme of Continuing
Professional Development courses in Area Regeneration.
The MPhil in Urban
Policy and Practice is an exciting new masters degree for people interested in
cities, urban regeneration and public policy. It is principally aimed at
regeneration practitioners and can be studied flexibly over a period of up to
four years.
The degree aims to provide students with access to the latest
understanding of urban problems and policies and to increase their capacity to
address the complexity of practice on the ground. A wide range of option courses
can be taken spanning neighbourhood renewal, local economic development and
housing change.
