8th Researching the Voluntary Sector Conference
3-4 September 2002, Nottingham University, UK

The Researching the Voluntary Sector Conference has taken place every year since 1994. The 2-day event provides a unique meeting place for researchers as well as users of research from within the voluntary sector, academia, and the policy making field, both from the UK and overseas. It is organised by the research team of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations.

Call for papers
The conference is in principle open to all topics. Last year's programme for example included papers on user involvement and empowerment, the voluntary and community sector in a changing political climate, the role of the sector in building social capital, and community capacity building. The hardy perennial that is resources and their management is again welcome to make its appearance at this year's conference.
Abstracts of 400-600 words should be submitted to NCVO by 7 June 2002.

Delegates
Alternatively, should you wish to attend as a delegate only, please contact the address below for details of fees.
