There is a book in which the author, Peter Hopkirk, decides to explore the world of Kim and follows in the footsteps of Kim and the Llama; Quest for Kim, In Search of the Great Game by Peter Hopkirk (John Murray 1996). A few years ago I read part of a book (many pages were missing!) which attempted to fill in the geographical background to 'Kim', describing the actual places where Kim's adventures happened. It was called something like 'In the Footsteps of Kim', and I have no idea who the author was. As I hope to be going to 'Kim Country' within a few months, I'd like to read the book again - perhaps even all of it this time! - but I'm unable to locate it on any of the used book search engines on the net, maybe because the title is wrong. It occurred to me that your members might well know of the author and correct title of this, and could help me to track down a copy.
