The project is part of the UK's ESRC/MRC research programme on Innovative Health Technologies. The work will involve collection and analysis of extensive documentary material, and fieldwork in the UK and Europe. You will join a team combining expertise in sociology, health services research and bioengineering. You should have a higher degree in the Social Sciences, or equivalent, and a background in sociology, science and technology studies, or another relevant social or health science discipline. Good interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to arrange and conduct fieldwork with a variety of professional and scientific staff.
