I thought the following course information might be of interest to the list members: The Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP) is holding it's fourth annual Training Week from 22nd to 26th July 2002 in Oxford, UK. The aim of this course is to support those responsible for implementing evidence-based practice. Opportunities will be provided for participants to: -enhance understanding of using evidence-based practice in health and social care; -develop skills in appraising quantitative or qualitative research literature; -develop facilitation skills for critical appraisal workshops; and -develop mechanisms in supporting the dissemination of appraisal training.
