Dear colleagues The European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) are organisng their annual training course 'Who's afraid of European Information?' to take place in Maastricht on 19-21 June 2002. Over two and a half days there are a series of talks on the EU (focusing on institutional developments, policy-making and enlargement), combined with a series of sessions describing the information sources from each of the major EU Institutions (the European Commission, European Parliament, Council of the European Union and European Court of Justice), plus a practical demonstration of European information on the internet and a talk on future developments at EUR-OP. Speakers are senior officials from the respective EU Institutions and EIPA researchers. This is the ninth time the course has been run. Past experience has shown that large numbers of delegates from all across Europe attend - making for a truly pan-European occasion, ideal for networking, and providing a stimulating and enjoyable educational experience in very attractive surroundings. Full details of the programme, the speakers, the costs, and a booking form can be found at: http://www.eipa.nl/activities/02/10201_19Jun/invitation.htm Best wishes Ian PS.
