I'm more concerned about what is called "qualified DC" Lets think for a moment just about dc:description - and have a short look at http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-2/#string in particular the note following 3.2.1 string - Please observe here is not only an issue for text using human languages, but also for abstracts of technical stuff, which might use MathML or CML. rs
