Avis,

You could check with Beate Gminder, Spokesman's service, responsible for Consumers, Health and Safety or her assistant, Ilse Gordts. I assume you have the e-mail addressses in your Outlook addresss book. The other option would be the DG info service, [log in to unmask].

I understand from an enquirer that the Commission is  due to produce its shortlist (actually not all that short - 300 names!) of candidates for the EFSA "by April".

My enquirer seems to think that this means before the end of March, which effectively means by Wednesday as the Easter break starts Thursday.

Does anyone know anything about this, or know who I might contact to find out when the list is likely to be issued?

Grateful for your help, as always.
