This one day course explains why a publishing approach is the optimal way to deal with content on an intranet or extranet. It delivers a step-by-step process by which a publishing strategy can be developed, explaining why all such strategies begin with identification of who the reader is and what content that reader needs. It examines in detail the key publishing processes: create, edit, publish. It looks at the publishing team and skills required to run a publication, and finishes by exploring the key measures by which a publication can be tracked.
