Surely better to have an early scan which may allow reversal of anticoagulation with treatment, rather than wait for ominous signs? In fact if we dont do as many skull xrays(use a more useful test which actually shows the damage within the head), which very rarely give us much useful information, the money can be saved to pay for the few extra warfarinsed head injured patients.
