>Waningus (d. 688 (or 683)) Waningus was the count of Calais. Together
with St. Wandregiselus, he founded the monastery of Fontenelle
(St-Wandrille) in 649 in the diocese of Rouen.

i happened upon their interesting website: http://www.st-wandrille.com/

apparently now home to a thriving Benedictine community.

looks like it would be worth a visit.

It is certainly worth the time to visit. In addition to the visual
pleasures, the Office chant is (at least) as good as Solesmes. And, as one
would expect, a very hospitable community.
