Now a new edition of the book is planned.
The author of the book, Gradskova Ioulia, is a researcher of the Laboratory for a development of
gender education of the Moscow State Lomonosov University, dep. of Pedagogy. She invites the readers
to think together over the problem of understanding of woman's identity in the soviet and postsoviet space.
The publication is an attempt of the gender specific critical review of the different tipes of the
descriptions of the phenomen of the "Soviet woman".
