I'm thrilled to witness this outburst of conviviality and engagement just as I am about to hand over responsibility for list administration to Claire Longworth (a formal announcement will follow), and I certainly wouldn't want to dampen enthusiasm, but can I ask that everyone is careful about posting and responding to messages only to intended recipients, and that we all remain civil - remembering that humour by e-mail is open to mis-interpretation.
