Virtual Campus TekniCAL User Group Meeting
7th November 2002

The TekniCAL Virtual Campus User Group (TUG)

The focus of the TUG is to provide an independent support framework for
problems and issues, exchange of ideas and good practice for users of
TekniCAL's VLE the Virtual Campus.

As an independent group made up of users of the Virtual Campus there are
a range of potential benefits for being part of TUG.

Draft Aim

To provide a forum that will promote the development and implementation
of TekniCAL's Virtual Campus for the benefit of all users.

Draft Objectives

To share good practice
To act as a collective voice to TekniCAL
To facilitate national developments
To develop and share content

It is planned that there will be three TUG meetings a year and plans for
an annual conference.

First Meeting

The first TUG meeting will take place on the 7th November 2002 in
Bristol.

The meeting from 10.30am - 3.00pm at the College Green Centre of the
City of Bristol College.

The TekniCAL Virtual Campus User Group Mailing List

The focus of the TUG list is to provide an independent support framework
for problems and issues, exchange of ideas and good practice for users
of TekniCAL's VLE the Virtual Campus.

The list also provides opportunities for collaboration and exchange of
learning materials for use within individual institutions Virtual
Campuses.

It also an avenue for those prospective users and institutions who are
interested in what current Virtual Campus users are doing.
