Dear SPM'ers,

Having completed a comprehensive ROI analysis on our Neuroreceptor SPECT
imaging data, we have identified several regions of statistical
significance.

We then repeat the analysis using SPM. My question is, can I use the
uncorrected values calculated from SPM as I have prior information from our
ROI analysis on
areas showing statistical significance. Of course making the appropriate
multiple
comparisons correction if we have several regions.

Is this approach valid? I was also led to believe that you can only make
apriori
hypotheses from other published literature.

If anybody can clarify this for me, I'd be grateful.

Cheers
