A postdoctoral position is open for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual in the area of optical physics of materials at Wayne State University Department of Chemistry. A candidate is sought to apply femto-second time-resolved spectroscopy to either organic opto-electronic materials (polymers) or bio-materials. The successful candidate will have experience with pump-probe spectroscopy, interfacing electronic equipment, femto-second lasers and optics, and the enthusiasm to learn about new materials and material processing.
