The LTSN Generic Centre organises a Network for colleagues involved in supporting and developing part-time teachers at HEI and departmental level. It is part of a project with HESDA to address staff development needs of all types of part-time teaching staff, including postgraduate teachers, fractional appointments and occasional lecturers. To meet the new demands of the WP agenda the project seeks to identify and disseminate existing 'good practices' and to develop new forms of provision. The next meeting of the Network is on Thursday 10 October 2002, 10.00hrs - 16.30hrs in Birmingham. It is free of charge to participate.
