The School of Information & Media at The Robert Gordon University in
Aberdeen has been commissioned by Resource to carry out a comprehensive
critical overview of impact evaluation studies conducted in the museums,
archives and libraries sectors.

The study will identify evaluations examining the impact of specific
projects, services and programmes on, for example, learning, access, social
inclusion, economy, regeneration, etc. The findings will be used by
Resource to identify potential methodologies to measure the impact by the
sectors on key government policy goals.

Researchers at the School of Information & Media are particularly
interested in identifying current or previous impact evaluation studies
which reflect innovative qualitative and quantitative methodologies and
which have not been widely publicised.
