The second issue will be published in May 2002. On behalf of the IJP International Editorial Board, we invite pavement professionals from around the world to submit original high quality technical papers in IJP format. Please submit to Dr. Uddin by e-mail before February 28, 2002 for consideration in May issue. A subscription order form is attached.

IJP-International Journal of Pavements, a new international journal for highway and airport pavement community has been founded by CEFET-Sao Paulo, Brazil and CAIT-University of Mississippi. We encourage you to contribute papers, discussions, reviews, news, and related items of interest for publication in IJP. This is an excellent publication to read, subscribe to, write for, and access pavement and transportation community worldwide.

We have established an international editorial board that comprises of exceptionally qualified, well known, and respected pavement and transportation experts from all over the world. These distinguished individuals and other invited pavement experts will be involved in the peer review process.

IJP - International Journal of Pavements encompasses the following subject areas: accelerated pavement testing; modern practices to design, maintain, and rehabilitate asphalt and concrete pavements; low volume roads; new stabilization and paving technologies; nondestructive evaluation; material testing and characterization; life-cycle analysis and pavement management; and innovative applications of advanced computer modeling and remote sensing technologies.
