Set up a (free) hotmail account and e-mail manuscripts as attachments to it weekly; because the material can be accessed from any computer you cannot lose it (providing you stay under the account maximum for storage) - even if your hard drive is destroyed and your floppy discs or CD roms melt in a fire.
