Thanks for the thoughts, Frank, but I should say I'm hundreds of miles away, in Melbourne, where it is currently raining. I have friends in Sydney, but they're ok. These fires happen every few years, and they're usually worth a headline or two; when they're in Victoria my family in England usually thinks we're out there battling the firestorm because of the alarming news pictures. Since December 21, about 50 people have died in road accidents, but it doesn't seem to create the same sort of stir: maybe that's just the normal blood sacrifice to the Great God Holden.
