Lap tops are problematical. It is difficult to comply with UK's DSE Regulations sitting in a car with a lap top. They can be taken to the most remote (and sometimes unsuitable) work environment. They do not have a separate keyboard and screen. As a minimum, people should get a separate keyboard and plug it in thus enabling better positioning of screen and increasing the chances of an ergonomic solution.
