with Cardiac Pacemakers.htm>>

Phil my understanding is that EMF's can affect pacemakers and the effect
varies from model to model. Where there is interference, pacemakers usually
revert to a fixed pacing mode and although it can be uncomfortable this is
not dangerous.

Some people with unusual heart rhythms have special pacemakers fitted and
these could be adversely affected, but since this is a special pacemaker the
physician would warn the patient about it.

                Hi All,
Does anyone know about pacemakers. I have been asked by an
individual who is
to be fitted with one of these devices about areas on our
site which may
interfere with it. We are a large site manufacturing
chemicals with control
                rooms, radio comms etc.

                Ta

                Phil
