Pavilion promotes the creative uses of new media online and in public spaces, and is currently recruiting for a new Artistic Director. The successful candidate will have vision, flair, a sound knowledge of the new media/technologies, a proven track record of fund-raising for the arts and the ability to network across different sectors to establish and execute collaborative arts projects. The main purpose of the role of Artistic Director is to provide artistic and organisational vision and leadership to Pavilion, fostering its role as a high profile new media arts organisation. The Artistic Director needs to ensure that the organisation is effective in all its operations and has sustainable growth. This will be achieved by overseeing the initiation and delivery of new programmes of work (working closely with the New Media Curator), by fundraising effectively and by building partnerships that offer collaborative approaches to programme and organisational development. The Artistic Director will manage the staff team, many of whom work on a part-time basis. The salary will be £22-25k, subject to experience.
