In an attempt to hijack the discussion for my own personal uses I would like to extend these roles to include what I guess you could call institutions and the communication layers proposed by Prof. Yochai Benkler of NYU Law School and explored in Lawrence Lessig's book "The Future of Ideas" (of which I'll explain later on).
