I think before sending out incorrect runners like this you need to check the
facts.

The simple fact of the matter is that Phil and Sandra Amies who own Sygun
Mine have reached retirement age  they have decided to sell the property and
not have the responsibilities of dealing with Joe Public on a daily basis.
After some 20 years of developing the place I think they deserve the
opportunity to retire.

With over 30,000 visitors a year it is hardly being run at a loss, there are
also planning permissions for extending the visitor centre and additional
property that can be used for accommodation or a holiday let.
