www.tidza.demon.co.uk

List members might be interested in looking at the page
concerning the project at High Rake which has recently been added to our
pages. This concerns the archaeological excavations taking place at the
foundations of a pair of engine houses at the High Rake Mine. In view of
the present discussion over archaeology and mining history, I would like
to point out that the dig is being jointly led by the Peak Park
archaeologist, John Barnatt.
