I've been asked if I can interpret the following markings on a tin ingot
with a view identifying its origin. It's not really my field and I'd
appreciate some pointers and/or possible sources of information.

> It has several identifying marks. In the top left hand corner are the
initials HDW, in the top right hand corner is the lamb and flag symbol, with
the head facing towards the tail, at the feet of the lamb are five diamond
shapes. In between and just above the initials and the lamb and flag the
numbers 1037 are stamped.
>In the centre there is a large wave shaped stamp with a name stamped into
it, it begins with the letters PE and ends with TIN the rest is unreadable
due to encrusted sand. To the left and just below this are the numbers 406,
and to the right and just above is stamped something like R - 29.
