To answer your questions Location not that important - just good venues (perhaps one with case studies) 2 Days conferences would be better than 1 (SHCG annuals are 3) Content - would be useful to look at a theme, in order to ensure focus (eg public access d'bases or imaging) As low as possible, but £25 is very good value (including accomadation £150 for 2 days would be acceptable) Other aspects for success - Well publicised with a good spread of speakers/projects covered I am still keen to pursue a a joint SHCG/MCG ICT seminar this autumn, I will try and ring you tommorrow? The one day conference was free to delegates and was oversubscribed as soon as it was advertised. The day included a trade exhibition that helped to fund a free lunch. The event was judged a success by those who attended, both exhibitors and delegates. As a result the MCG is keen to repeat the conference this year. Before we make final preparations and to ensure that this year's conference builds on last year's success we would very much welcome your input.
