****Start the New Year with a TASI workshop!**** There are still places left on TASI's January workshops: Beginners Capture/Digitisation (Thursday 9th Jan) Intermediate Capture/Digitisation (Friday 10th Jan) Setting up an Image Database and Metadata (Friday 17th Jan) Managing a Digitisation Project (Friday 31st Jan) Book now to avoid disappointment! For further details and to book a place, please see the TASI Web site: http://www.tasi.ac.uk/training/training.html The workshops have been specially designed to meet the needs of all those involved in image digitisation projects, and those who wish to use digital images in teaching and research. The Beginners and Intermediate Capture workshops take place on consecutive days, allowing you to combine them back-to-back with an overnight stay. All workshops start at 10 am and finish by 4.30 pm. These workshops will all be hosted at the Institute for Learning and Research Technology (ILRT), University of Bristol. Workshops cost 125 pounds for participants from Higher or Further Education, and 150 pounds for participants from Government, charities, libraries, galleries or museums. Prices for Commercial participants are available on request.
