Topics to be covered include: working with editors, reviewers, authors and publishers, running efficient editorial office systems, overview of the publishing process and issues in online submission and tracking. Delegates will be introduced to an easy-to-use method for interface design, and will also learn about testing the effectiveness of interfaces and be introduced to a simple evaluation technique. This course is for non-technical staff with responsibility for, interest in, or influence over, the online services offered by their organisations (e.g. product managers, publishers, editors, business development managers and marketing staff).
