Hi Everyone,

This is a plea on behalf of several frustrated participants of
lis-e-journals.

Everytime a member of this list sends an email to the list, they get
beseiged with a pile of "out of office auto replies", which can become a
disincentive to sending any further messages to the list!!

Can I please ask that if members on this list use an email out of the
office autoreply feature could they please also remember to make use of
the nomail feature of jiscmail.

A useful quick reference card is available from the JISCMail web site
at:

http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/docs/user-ref-card.htm

E.g. To suspend email from all the lists you are a member of send the
following message:

To: [log in to unmask]

Subject:

Body of Message:

set * nomail

E.g. To resume email from all the lists you are a member of send the
following message:

To: [log in to unmask]

Subject:

Body of Message:

set * mail

I wonder how many autoreplies I will get to this message!!

Cheers
Lesley
