[Resending this request as it appears to have disappeared into the ether the first time I tried.] Here at Northumbria the work on managing ejournals (assessing deals and licences, ordering, checking initial and continuing availability, agreeing authentication methods, presenting via OPAC and Web pages, troubleshooting, user queries, etc) is divided between my Electronic Services team and our Bibliographic Services section (with input from subject staff at the selection stage), but we are looking to see whether we can improve workflows and remove possible duplication of effort. The sig files for messages on this list refer to jobs like: Electronic Resources Co-ordinator Electronic Information Development Officer Information Resources Manager (Electronic Journals) Electronic Resources Manager as well as others for folk with subject responsibilities. I'd be interested to hear from those in academic libraries as to their ejournal responsibilities and how they fit into their library's organisational structure. I will endeavour to summarise the responses. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ian Winship Learning Resources, University of Northumbria at Newcastle City Campus Library, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 8ST, UK ---------------- e-mail: [log in to unmask] phone: 0191 227 4150 fax: 0191 227 4563 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
