GEM Conference 2002 National Museums of Scotland, Edinburgh 4 to 7 Setember 'Making a difference to learning' The 2002 GEM conference will explore how museums and galleries make a difference to the learning opportunities available to a wide range of different audiences, within the context of access and social inclusion. Within this broad theme the conference will showcase innovative examples of where and how museums are making a difference to learning and explore the strategic and practical elements that need to be developed/sustained if museums and galleries are going to continue to do so. Taking part: GEM members' presentations and seminars GEM members always play a major part in the conference programme, leading seminars and workshops and giving presentations.
