GEM Conference 2002
National Museums of Scotland, Edinburgh 4 to 7 Setember
'Making a difference to learning'

The 2002 GEM  conference will explore how museums and galleries make a
difference to the learning opportunities available to a wide range of
different audiences, within the context of access and social inclusion.
Within this broad theme the conference will showcase innovative examples of
where and how museums are making a difference to learning and explore the
strategic and practical elements that need to be developed/sustained if
museums and galleries are going to continue to do so.

Taking part: GEM members' presentations and seminars
GEM members always play a major part in the conference programme, leading
seminars and workshops and giving presentations. If you would like to
contribute to the programme please could you get in touch with Emma Webb,
Local Conference organiser before 31 January 2002.
