As part the Historic Environment team you will support the Department's policies and activities for the protection and enhancement of Hampshire's natural and historic environment.
Historic Data Manager

*       37 hours per week 
                Responsible for managing and maintaining the Archaeology and Historic Buildings Record, you will develop the role of the database and manage the work programmes of staff, ensuring the database is maintained and enquiries receive a response. You will also initiate and manage projects, develop data agreements and be responsible for seeking external funding. At least three years' experience managing an archaeology and/or historic buildings database will be essential. 
        	
For both posts, you should have an appropriate degree or professional qualification and be familiar with archaeological and historic buildings data issues and the use of associated computerised data storage systems, including GIS.
