Subject:  Bicultural approaches to science and environmental management

23 January 2002.

Kia ora Koutou / Greetings everyone!

FORUM ACTIVATED ON HUI WEBSITE

An automated system has now been established for adding discussion contributions to the website (http://www.otago.ac.nz/Zoology/hui/) for a recent hui (conference) on bicultural approaches to environmental management, conservation and science in New Zealand.

There are already 8 thought-provoking contributions to the 'Forum' on the site that invite rejoinders on issues of representation of Maori on boards, the value or otherwise of websites, left/right wing approaches to conservation, environmental fascism and lots more. Please visit the site and join in, either by responding to the current offerings or broadening the debate to the other issues of bicultural approaches to science and environmental management highlighted in the website as a whole. Just click on the 'Forum' link to read what has already been said and proceed through the automated uploading sequence to make your contribution.

A few informal lines are just as good as longer formal items.

Please relay this message to your friends and colleagues that could be interested in the issues.

Many thanks

Henrik Moller
