Hear! hear! And there is obviously a demand for just that.

We've just done a small series of day seminars for assessors and DOs on
Matching Technology to Needs, specifically for dyslexia. They were
received very well, particularly Andi Sanderson's presentation on which
particular needs, strengths and weaknesses call for which particular
hardware and software solutions (or not). So we will be doing another
series in the new year.

We should also look at strategy as much as technology at the other end
of the process, of course, ie when training the student. Not just
"Here's what the program does" but "What are your learning needs,
strengths, weaknesses, preferred styles? Then here's how this program
will help that." How often do trainers get to see an EP's report to help
them pitch their training right?
