Adrian didn't mention it, so I thought I should add that this amendment
doesn't come into force until 2005.

It is worth remembering that the FoI Act amends the definition of
personal data in the DPA to include info held BY PUBLIC AUTHORITIES
in UNSTRUCTURED files as well as structured files, which has
Subject Access Request implications of course for those of us lucky
enough to be classed as "public authorities"! See:
http://www.uk-legislation.hmso.gov.uk/acts/acts2000/00036--m.htm

Best wishes,
Adrian
