This is a query to Richard (Price)--- Can you confirm something you said, or I think you said, publicly because it may well concern many small-press publishers on this list-- Did you say that by the copyright laws, only the copy sent to the B.L. is in fact statutorily compulsory, and the other five (which go via A.T.Smail) are voluntary? I thought all six copies were compulsory. In fact I was quite certain about this, and so were several other people I've mentioned it to. Not that with my imprint I would dream of cutting off the other copyright libraries. But for instance, to people who publish artists' books costing £1000 each in editions of 20, these five copyright copies are sometimes problematic. //PR
