2002 CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT & CALL FOR PAPERS

The 16th annual meeting of ASSESS, the SPSS Users' Group, will take place on
Friday, 8th November 2002 at St William's College, York, U.K.

The committee welcomes contributions on SPSS-related topics from all
 academic and professional fields, particularly describing case studies, the
use of SPSS in applied research and experience of using new SPSS products.

Normally 30 minutes is allowed (including some time for questions). Speakers do
not pay the Conference fee and may claim expenses.

If you would like to give a paper or run a workshop session (or even if you
think you might but are not yet sure or would like to know more), please
contact the conference co-organiser, Peter Watson (see below).

St William's College is a splendid medieval building on College Street
opposite the eastern end of York Minster, less than ten minutes walk from
York railway station and a few minutes walk from pay-and-display car parks
just outside the city walls.


The meeting is open to all current users of SPSS and to anyone interested
 in SPSS.

Come along to

* hear SPSS users talk about applications, problems and solutions
* hear the latest news from SPSS UK staff about product developments
* participate in workshops
* exchange ideas with other SPSS users.
