NEMLAC, the regional strategic development agency for the sector in the North
East, wishes to appoint two full time posts

DEVELOPMENT OFFICER - INFORMATION
Scale 5:  £16.371 - £17,955
The Development Officer - Information will contribute to the development of
knowledge management with NEMLAC and in relation to its role as a regional
agency.  The Officer will assist with monitoring regional and national policy
developments affecting the sector and have direct responsibility for the
maintenance and development of the NEMLAC website and a range of information
and data resources

DEVELOPMENT OFFICER - ACCESS
Scale 5:  £16.371 - £17,955
Following internal promotion, NEMLAC wishes to appoint a Development Officer -
Access who will be part of the Access & Learning team and support member
organisations in the development and implementation of strategy and policy in
the areas of access and disability, social inclusion and cultural diversity
across the museums, library and archive sector. The Development Officer will
also provide specialist advice and support on these and related matters,
working with a range of partners, and help manage a number of exciting projects.

Applicants for both posts should be educated to degree level and have relevant
experience of the library, archive, museum or gallery sector (or community work
