ARCHIVE CATALOGUER.

c£20,000 p.a. (six month assignment).

Aston-Mansfield is a charity formed in East London

in the 1880s. Using a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund

the charity wishes to recruit a cataloguer for six months to

sort and catalogue its archive, which is about to be placed

on deposit at the new Stratford Public Library. The archive

will form the core of an exhibition about the charity and it is

hoped that the archivist will also be able to contribute to its planning.

Ideally, you should hold a qualification in archive administration,

be familiar with automated cataloguing software (preferably Calm 2000),

and have knowledge of modern British history. Accuracy, attention

to detail and self-motivation will also be important.

Hours are 37 per week (including luncheons) and we are willing

to consider a flexible working pattern. Stratford has good transport links

to all parts of London and East Anglia. The new library is close to the

station, shops, theatre and other amenities.

For an application form ring Roy Sully, Project Manager, on 0208 980 9527
