Hello Everyone, Sorry to bother you all on a Monday but I am looking for information/references on salt tolerant (agricultural) plants and I thought I would see if anyone knew of any. I am a Ph.D. student at Simon Fraser University in Canada and I am working at Caesarea in Israel. The reservoir at the site appears to have become slightly brackish in the later period of its Roman occupation (3rd & 4th centuries) and could have only been used for industrial or agricultural purposes. I already have evidence for barley being the majority crop during this period but I would greatly appreciate any assistance anyone could offer in the way of references or information on any other salt/drought tolerant species. Thank you! Jennifer Ramsay Dept. of Archaeology Simon Fraser University 8888 University Drive Burnaby, B.C. V5A-1S6 CANADA
