Lévy-Bruhl's work in French history and philosophy            of science"

14.30.  Dominique Merllié:  "E.E. Evans-Pritchard and L. Lévy-Bruhl".

16.00           Derek Robbins:  "Some notes on the English translations and English
reception of Lévy-Bruhl's work during his lifetime."


This is the first English seminar in a joint project organised by the Centre
de Sociologie européenne, Paris and the School of Social Sciences, the
University of East London, with the support of the British Academy and the
Centre National de la recherche scientifique.
