Dear Heather, There are a couple of whole blood analysers that I know of on the market which measure whole blood Lithium. 1. Roche (formerly AVL) 9180, 9181 these are 3 channel analysers measuring Na,K and the third channel is interchangeable and can measure iCa,Cl or Lithium. The measurements can be done on either whole blood, serum, plasma. Urine measurements can also be done. The analyser is relatively small and runs from a fluid pack making the system ideal for POCT use. 2.Bayer also did do electrolyte analyser, 654, which I believe is still available and is similar to the above but doesn't have an interchangeable 3rd electrode. There may be others but these are the 2 I am familiar with. Hope this helps, Regards Tracy Cook POCT Manager, Basildon Hospital ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
