This formula is used by Fred Wu at St Mary's to calculate free testosterone concentration's when the total testo value is between 8 and 12mmol/L (9am sample. This was presented at the Harrogate meeting of the British Endocrine Societies. The formula is adapted from Vermeulen's work, published in J. Clin Endo Metab 1999.
